Our set subject for March 2013 is Photo Travel with the following definition:
Images of travel destinations, accommodation, beach and swimming pool scenes, modes of transport and natural wonders. The images could include the people of the land, the architecture of buildings internal or external (excluding close ups or building details) and aspects of scapes (excluding pure Nature landscapes). The images should be aesthetically appealing, showing the destination in the best light, visual impact, perspective effects and human interest. Does the photograph invite on to go to the destination? Manipulation is permitted but not to the extent that the image becomes an abstract, photo art or unrecognisable as a travel image.
