Giants Castle
Nature's Eye Photographic Workshops / Safari's is proud to offer this unique photographic experience at Giants Castle, home of the Eland and the majestic Bearded Vulture.
Giants Castle Game Reserve lies in the Central Berg region of the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park. Its name comes from the silhouette of the mountain escarpment that resembles the profile of a sleeping giant.
Giants Castle camp is situated on a grassy plateau among the deep valleys running down from the face of the High Drakensberg, offering glorious views for hikers and mountain climbers.
The cost for the 2 days are R3,900-00 per person sharing.
It includes:
- Standard room sharing blankets;
- Bed linen and blankets;
- Breakfast;
- Lunch snack pack;
- Dinner;
- Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages; and
- Transport from Pretoria to Giants Castle and back to Pretoria.
Excluded are:
- Lunch on the day of departure;
- Alcoholic beverages; and
- Personal expenses and optional extra activities.
The itinerary are:
- Early morning wake up call
- Breakfast
- Depart for vulture hide
- Lunch at the hide
- Open forum discussion and or training relating to photography and related topics by an experienced host photographer
- Time for other activities at Giants Castle
- Dinner at the chalet
A deposit of 50% of the full price is required when making your booking. A booking can only be confirmed once the deposit is received.
The host are master photographer Henning de Beer (FPSSA)
They can accommodate 3 people per trip.
